Desnuda sobre una vereda de Buenos Aires, con las palabras Disciplina e Indisciplina escritas sobre la espalda, la artista permanece inmóvil apenas el tiempo suficiente para que la imagen exista. La acción fue realizada después de Roto, una performance en la que la artista rompió objetos durante siete días, siete horas por día, sin detenerse, hasta dejar su cuerpo exhausto y lesionado. Después de llevar el cuerpo a ese límite, surge la necesidad de ensayar otra forma de acción. La intuición de que esta acción podía transformar el dolor da origen a la obra.

Naked on a sidewalk in Buenos Aires, with the words Discipline and Indiscipline written across her back, the artist remains motionless just long enough for the image to come into being. The action was carried out after Broken, a performance in which the artist smashed objects for seven consecutive days, seven hours a day, without stopping, until her body was left exhausted and injured. After pushing the body to that limit, the need arose to experiment with another form of action. The intuition that this gesture might transform pain became the starting point for the work.
